Spontaneity - Melbourne

with Brenna Dixon

"After the first session I saw a noticeable difference at work,I would strongly recommend this course for those who are looking to come out of their shell at work as well." - Dannielle Walz

Everyone can enjoy the laughter and play of improvisation!

Our Spontaneity course covers the basics of improvisation. You’ll work on unleashing your creativity and unlocking your spontaneity through impro games and exercises based on play, collaboration, and support. This course is designed to encourage fearlessness, freedom, and fun!

We’ll explore core principles of improvisation, including:

  • Being present in the moment
  • Accepting ideas and saying 'yes'
  • Idea generation
  • Supportive play
  • Silencing the internal critic
  • Communication skills

Spontaneity is the first course of the Impro Melbourne workshop program and requires no prior improvisation or performance experience.
