Impro Melbourne are delighted to announce we are partnering with Caroline Jane Knight, Jane Austen’s fifth great niece, and the Jane Austen Literacy Foundation for a special fundraising evening on Wednesday 9th April, with a performance of ‘Jane Austen Improvised’ followed by a unique insight into Jane Austen’s life and legacy.
It will be a fun night with Caroline in the audience, after the show Caroline will be talking about her unique connection to Jane Austen, her childhood in Chawton where her 5th great aunt Jane Austen lived and wrote, the Jane Austen Literacy Foundation and the global celebrations for Jane’s 250th birthday in 2025.
Profits from the evening will be donated to the Jane Austen Literacy Foundation, a global volunteer charity that gets people reading and writing more and supports literacy programs in developing communities.
